Volunteer Information - Spanish, German and English

Care 4 Cats -currently we visit Ibiza for one week in November and one week in February each year.

Volunteers Until we are able to buy our own clinic we are unable to use UK voluntary teams.  Currently we need two teams of 6 trappers. We invite applications from trappers both Spanish and English speakers - experienced if possible but training is given. We also we require general assistants to work at general tasks. In order that we may do even more cat spaying work, we are now asking that the team pay their air fare. We hire vans for  teams. The accommodation is free courtesy of Panorama Holidays in Ibiza, this is one or two apartments on the beach at es cana which means that the team are able to cook or eat out. Also accoummodation is provided at San Jose courtesy of Jaki and Stephen White.  There are many restaurants nearby where you can eat very reasonably.
The working day starts at 9.am with trapping taking place in the mornings and again in the late afternoons.

Teams consists of 2 per van for trapping and keeping a record of cats trapped.  Each pair has a mobile phone to keep in contact with the other team.  One team covers one side of the small island and the other team covers the opposite side.  New volunteers are welcomed by the teams and soon become part of the family.   If you wish to talk to Angela personally, please call or email her.  Details on the contact page.

Sue from Tony Pandy, Wales writes:

I have been trapping for Care 4 Cats, Ibiza for six years, but have lost count of the number of cats I have caught.   It is very rewarding to neuter the females, as you know there will be no more unwanted kittens from her and she will have a much easier life now.   Because of the work of Care 4 Cats Ibiza, you very rarely see a starving unwanted cat anymore.
